Accessory Kit
I can not use the battery included in the Accessory Kit because is for a diferent camera model.

What can I do to change this battery for the apropiated?

Review - Sony DCR-HC48 accessory Kit
Stop placing an order until you make sure the accessories they ship are right. I am the second person to write about the same issue. They are sending a wrong rechargeable battery with this product. They haven’t changed the product to show if they going to ship a right battery. Actuall rechargeable battery for this product is NP-FH(40/70/100) but they are shipping “NP-FP70 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery Pack” which is not compatable with this camcoder. I called them to correct the problem but they left me a message saying that they will take off $15.00 off of my bill, which I personally think it’s unfair. Since this is weekend, I have to call them back on monday to see if they can give me a resonable deal. Just writing this so that no one would place an order before they correct there listing.

By the way, I didn’t get chance to review the actual product. Review star are representing dealers service.

Battery Pack NOT compatible with Camcorder
This is the first camcorder I have ever bought and I am very satisfied with the camcorder. The only problem I have with this combo deal is that the additional battery pack that comes with the camcorder is not compatible with the DCR-HC48. I gave a call to Sony Customer Support to confirm and they said, as the manual did, this camera is only compatible with an InfoLITHIUM H type battery. The one that came with the accessory kit is a P type. So, unless you don’t really care about the battery, but prefer the other things in the kit, don’t buy the kit. Other than that, the camera works great.

**UPDATE** Ok, so I love the camera, but DO NOT buy anything from this company, Ace Digital Club. I e-mailed them when I first got my camera telling them that the battery in the kit was not compatible with the camera. They responded fairly quickly telling me that the battery was out of stock and that they would ship the correct battery to me once it was in stock (about 2-3 weeks they said). It’s been over a month now, I e-mailed them twice already, but still no response at all. It’s like they replied to the first e-mail just to shut me up. So, I would not buy anything that Ace Digital Club is selling even if the price seems like a good deal because it’s not worth it.
